The Film Night occurs on the last Saturday of each month where films are projected to a large screen in the darker months and shown in a large TV screen in the summer. The sound goes through the church system, so the loop offers clearer sound for some. This provides the audio-visual experience of a cinema.
Films are chosen by viewers but generally inspirational, challenging, adventure, musicals or just pure entertainment. Often, they are asked to explain why they selected the film and can be followed by a short discussion after the end. It seems that most films last about two hours, so comfy chairs help the experience.
To get people in the right mood, popcorn, chocolate, teas and coffee are available and time to share the film together in a friendly environment. They are open to everybody and guests are welcome but remember we gather at 7.15pm with the film starting at 7.30pm. Please come and join us.
